Major updates

🔺Sei has taken a notable step by integrating the Humanode BotBasher on their Discord. This is currently in active use for the Sei Testnet mission.

ii. Humanode

🔺Added an external account ID type for pallet-pot, contributing to an enhanced user experience.

iii. Frontier

🔺Implemented a StoredMap for the EvmSystem, included a default implementation for both OnNewAccount and OnKilledAccount for the empty tuple, and developed the frame EVM system.

iv. Discord (aka BotBasher) integration

🔺Augmented support for discord proxy, fortifying the offerings.

🔺A fresh UI update welcomes you, now showcasing the top servers that have integrated Botbasher.

Unveiling BotBasher for Discord

Testers can verify themselves as unique living human beings, and enter the Sybil-resistant channels on the Humanode Discord server.

BotBasher for Discord is an application that has been created utilizing the Humanode private biometric verification technology, allowing Discord users to verify that their account is owned by a unique living human being, and Discord servers to create Sybil-resistant channels, by limiting specified channels to verified human beings only. As the BotBasher for Discord works alongside other popular Discord applications, the servers will be able to provide their users with Sybil-resistant voting (1 user, 1 vote), Sybil-resistant whitelisting, Sybil-resistant airdrops, NFT mints, and more!

As the technology behind the application is the Humanode crypto-biometric technology, the users are able to conduct private and secure uniqueness and liveness checks over anonymized data, without revealing any private information or fear of having their biometric data hacked.

As a note of caution, one user is only able to create one bio-authentication, meaning that the user can only tie one account to their physical identity, limiting their access to the BotBasher-enabled Sybil-resistant channels (or servers) to that verified account.

Once an account has been bio-authenticated and receives the role of a Verified Human, they will be able to utilize that verification for all servers that are BotBasher enabled.

Sei Network integrates Humanode BotBasher

Sei Network has fully integrated Humanode BotBasher into its Discord server, and will be utilizing it across its entire ecosystem!

Sei is an open-source Layer 1 blockchain specialized for exchanges, optimizing every layer of the stack to offer infrastructure for trading apps of all types; from gaming to NFTs to DeFi. Leveraging a novel consensus and technical breakthroughs, Sei claims to be the fastest blockchain in existence with a lower bound of 300ms and an upper bound of 20,000 OPS that are being processed. The Sei ecosystem includes over 100 projects which include well-known projects like SushiSwap, Axelar, and Space ID.

Sei Lab’s Head of Ecosystem, Grover states, “As the Sei project approaches mainnet, the Atlantic-2 testnet has received unprecedented attention in the form of over 6 million wallets and tens of millions of network requests every day. The Sei Foundation simply wanted to find a way to discourage Sybil attackers who are spamming the network with tens of millions of requests every day. In the first month of its public beta release, BotBasher has already been installed in 100 Discord servers, and the user base consists of 80,000+ unique human beings. The more experience points you gain, the higher your level goes on the Zealy Questboard. The higher your level on Zealy, the more roles you can acquire, and the greater your chances of qualifying to share the prize. Zealy keeps track of the amount of XP you earn.
