TL;DR

Greetings and welcome to the final edition of the Humanode biweekly report for the year 2023. In this update, we provide insights into the Humanode’s latest developments as the project continues its journey towards fostering a more decentralized and fair future.

Approaching the conclusion of 2023, Humanode proudly shared substantial on-chain data, spotlighting the impressive strides made within the network. Over the past weeks, they’ve cracked a significant milestone as the network achieved 57% self-sufficiency. A standout accomplishment is the Humanode network’s advancing self-sufficiency, a pivotal stride towards sustained longevity, and unwavering commitment to genuine decentralization. The reported metrics signify a noteworthy milestone, signifying a departure from conventional blockchain dependencies on external funding. Each instance of on-chain revenue fortifies the network, propelling Humanode closer to achieving the 100% self-sufficiency milestone, and enabling future expansion of the Humanode validator pool.

At the forefront of this year’s successes is BotBasher, Humanode’s Discord integration equipped with cryptobiometric tech designed to combat bots and multi-accounts. The integration of BotBasher into over 300 servers and the successful verification of over 270,000 users since its launch in April 2023 stands out as a testament to its efficiency and reliability. Seamless integrations with Web3 platforms, including TaskOn, Galxe, Zealy, Bonus Block, Blocked. cc, Wonderverse, and QuestN, have enhanced engagement through features like fair voting, whitelisting, airdrops, and NFT mints. Collaborations with Fiat Pass, Mantle Network, EclipseFi, Sei Network, Bitmart, Script Network, and Omni Network have played a pivotal role in Humanode’s journey.

The deployment of the Humanode EVM version on the mainnet marked a significant leap forward, with various projects contributing to the ecosystem’s growth. First and foremost, post-EVM launch, Impossible Finance, and OccamFi deployed DEXs on the Humanode chain. Furthermore, Chainport developed a bridge facilitating asset transfers across 18 supported blockchain networks and introducing USDC to the Humanode chain. Subscan’s Humanode Explorer enables users to track on-chain transactions, including the EVM version. Subquery’s integration opened new possibilities for developers, enabling seamless querying of on-chain data. Cointool’s deployment on the Humanode EVM allows for diverse blockchain activities, including batch transfers, token creation, NFTs, and more. Geckoterminal’s integration empowers users to efficiently monitor token pools, enhancing analysis capabilities. The integration of CLV Wallet provides a user-friendly experience for managing HMND, and Coin98 Wallet’s integration enables users to send, receive, and swap eHMND tokens through the Coin98 extension and Super wallet. This integration also allows users to connect to Impossible Finance DEX for token swaps via browser dApp.

On top of that, HPEPE and WOOF marked significant milestones as the first meme coins launched on Humanode, with Woofy hosting the first successful IDO on Humanode with the assistance of Cointool. Beyond these, additional oracles, GameFi, and DeFi projects are actively establishing themselves on the Humanode chain, promising new opportunities for the future.

And last but not least, for those seeking clarity on LP staking and DeFi concepts, Humanode provided a freshly-published comprehensive guide for valuable insights.

That’s a wrap. As we anticipate a promising 2024, we look forward to continued innovation and accomplishments in the evolution of Humanode!

Main News

Last week, the Humanode team got some juicy on-chain data to share, showcasing the impressive progress of the Humanode network. Over the past weeks, they’ve cracked a significant milestone, Humanode network achieved 57% self-sufficiency.

Here is the exact breakdown of the numbers:

1. Humanode blockchain fees: 3802 HMND

2. Biomapper fees: 825 HMND

3. Total validator payouts: 7995 HMND

What does this mean?

Unlike Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchains that rely heavily on minting new tokens to support their validators, Humanode is rapidly approaching a point where it won’t require any external funding to pay its validators. This is a huge step towards true decentralization and long-term sustainability!

Every bit of on-chain revenue strengthens the network and brings Humanode closer to that 100% self-sufficiency milestone. Once there, Humanode can expand the validator pool.

Humanode Bot Basher

What is BotBasher for Discord

BotBasher for Discord is an application that has been created utilizing the Humanode private biometric verification technology, allowing Discord users to verify that their account is owned by a unique living human being, and Discord servers to create Sybil-resistant channels, by limiting specified channels to verified human beings only. As the BotBasher for Discord works alongside other popular Discord applications, the servers will be able to provide their users with Sybil-resistant voting (1 user, 1 vote), Sybil-resistant whitelisting, Sybil-resistant airdrops, NFT mints, and more!

As the technology behind the application is the Humanode crypto-biometric technology, the users can conduct private and secure uniqueness and liveness checks over anonymized data, without revealing any private information or fear of having their biometric data hacked.

As a note of caution, one user is only able to create one bio-authentication, meaning that the user can only tie one account to their physical identity, limiting their access to the BotBasher-enabled Sybil-resistant channels (or servers) to that verified account.

Once an account has been bio-authenticated and receives the role of a Verified Human, they will be able to utilize that verification for all servers that are BotBasher enabled.
